I'm Handy

Not really. I guess you learn to be handy when your Jack and the Beanstalk size tree hits your house.

The Treehouse

Saturday night we came home to find one of our 75-100 year old Red Oak trees on top of our house and in our bedroom. In the process, this tree took out most of our concrete backyard decor, and made our roof look like swiss cheese.
On top of all that, Dallas took 10+ inches of rain. Luckily, my father and cousin were here to help secure the roof so that we weren't swimming in our house.
So, we now embark on finding out the extent of our damage and getting people to work on this house.
I'm proud of our sturdy little house, though. It handled it really well.

Oh - and Harrison was the only one home when it fell. He's been a little trooper as well.

So. I'm a burger guy. And I'm always looking for ways to enjoy more burgers at home. Found it.
